Have you wondered how engine oil has evolved over the years? Project Farm on YouTube decided to compare a 70 year old Quaker State Engine Oil vs a 10w-40 modern conventional oil. they tested the oil in a running engine and test it’s film strength, cold temperature performance and then tested by an independent oil lab.
The Quaker State oil that Project Farm used didn’t even have a viscosity rating – it’s that old!
It would be interesting for them to test this oil vs a modern synthetic as well, that should be an interesting test!
