2022 Lexus LX600 VIP Review – Big Outside Small Inside

The ultimate luxury SUV from Lexus is the LX600 and the new 2022 Lexus LX600 carries on the tradition of being the biggest, boldest and baddest Lexus SUV yet.

Know as VIP or Ultra Luxury, the 2022 LX600 brings with it the ability to perform on and off road. Packing 409 horsepower and 479 ft lb torque from it’s 3.5L Twin Turbo V6 that is also found in the new 2022 Toyota Tundra.

Not only is it the most expensive Lexus you can buy, but it’s also the most luxurious.

Starting with the massive front grill, you can’t help but notice this massive SUV. Inside, screens are resting behind each of the front seats and you have electronics galore that allow you to recline, control audio and control video in the lap of luxury. What other SUV lets you have an electric foot rest that folds out from the back of the front seats? Imagine playing video games back there, while kicking up your feet and getting a massage from the seats… the kids will never again ask “Are we there yet?”

There’s a cool box there in the center that acts as a small fridge to keep your snacks cool during trips and a phone wireless charger keeps your electronics ready to go.

While the SUV is massive, the interior holds only 4 people as the second row is designed for only 2 seats.

Active height control lowers and raises the vehicle, rather quickly, and allows you to fine time your suspension settings by the tap of the screen.

Check out the review above from TheStraightPipes on this 2022 Lexus LX600 VIP as they brake boost it’s way to a 0-60 launch, checking how fast the SUV accelerates.

The review also digs into the various suspension controls and how the LX600 handles. Sport S+ and Comfort are very different settings that actually make a difference – unlike in many other vehicles.
